Prompt Tutorial for Charlie’s Image Creation
Image creation is such a fun product. To best utilize this technology, we want to help you create top class prompts. Prompts are instructions given to Charlie to create an Image. However, the first time creating prompts and using the model can be intimidating.
Never fear, Charlie is designed to be easy to use. Below we’ll show you how to create top quality prompts to make a digital masterpiece.
Standard Prompts
A standard prompt typically involves 3 components: Subject, Styling, Final Details
Subject: Describe what you want to create, for instance a puppy typing on a computer
Styling: Now that you know what you want to create, give Charlie guidance on styling. Do you want the puppy to be cartoon styled, realistic, concept art? Maybe you want to borrow the styles of Vincent Van Gogh. This is the part of the prompt where you can really see the breadth of Charlie’s capabilities
- Examples: Realistic. Oil painting, Pencil drawing, Concept art, Photo, Disney, Paster art, Paul Cézanne, Jan van Eyck, Johannes Vermeer, Leonardo da Vinci, Matt Mahurin, Norman Rockwell, Tim Burton
Final Details: This is where you can drop in final instructions to the AI. If you want something to be maximalist and overflowing with intricate details, type maximalist here. You can also drop in emotions you wish the picture to evoke.
- Examples: Highly detailed, surrealism, trending on art station, triadic color scheme, smooth, sharp focus, matte, elegant, the most beautiful image ever seen, illustration, digital paint, dark, gloomy, octane render, 8k, 4k, washed colors, sharp, dramatic lighting, beautiful, post processing, picture of the day, ambient lighting, epic compositionHighly detailed, surrealism, trending on art station, triadic color scheme, smooth, sharp focus, matte, elegant, the most beautiful image ever seen, illustration, digital paint, dark, gloomy, octane render, 8k, 4k, washed colors, sharp, dramatic lighting, beautiful, post processing, picture of the day, ambient lighting, epic composition
There is no limit to how you can construct your prompt to Charlie, but prompts that include these 3 components typically yield the best results.
Narratives
Another fun way to create image prompts is to set the scene with a narrative. Whether it’s the last human city on earth, or a knight looking to defend his home country from invading armies, rich narratives can serve as excellent prompts for creating stunning visuals with Charlie. What’s the story you want Charlie to tell?
Emojis
Charlie was trained on-all types of language. If you want to have a bit more visual fun, drop in emoji combos to see what Charlie comes up with.
